A bell ringer for the Salvation Army was caught shoplifting Christmas ornaments, all the while singing "The First Noel."
Sean M. Sayers, 33, who was arrested by police on Wednesday, was reportedly on his break from working outside a Wal-Mart.
He then went inside the store and pocketed holiday ornaments totaling $19.82. Police said he stashed the items in his jacket, as well as a Subway sandwich shop bag.
Sayers is currently being held in Madison County Jail without bond, as his misdemeanor violated his terms of probation from a previous case.
