Despite being acquitted on criminal charges of murdering his wife, "Beretta" star Robert Blake was found guilty by a civic jury and ordered him to pay $30 million to the children of Bonnie Bakely.
After deliberating for eight days, the vote came back 10-2. Blake left the courtroom without commenting on the verdict. None of Bakely's four children appeared for the verdict, though one did speak out by phone. Bakely's daughter, Holly, said she was pleased with the verdict and was ready to move on.
While Blake claims he is broke, the children's attorney, Eric Dubin, says he has been given no reason to believe that Blake won't pay the damages.
