According to Amsterdam police on Monday, two Dutch nuns chased a suspected thief through Amsterdam on bikes. Amsterdam police spokesman Rob van der Veen stated that one of the nuns believed that a man walking by their chapel on Saturday evening was a thief who snatched hundreds of dollars in cash from the building two weeks earlier.

Bidingen, Germany (AHN)- A thief in Germany, riddled with guilt for nabbing a bicycle apologizes in a letter and pays for the full cost of the item. The bicycle was stolen in the Bavarian village of Bidingen. Authorities in neighboring Marktoberdorf called for witnesses of the crime to come forward.

A thief dressed in a woman's wig and makeup snatched a 71-year-old grandmother's purse in a Titusville mall, police said. According to a report by the Associated Press, Dotty Stella, was celebrating her birthday at a restaurant when she was robbed Monday.

"According to Plattsburgh City Court records, 24-year-old Cory K. Favreau was discussing the television show "American Idol" with his mother, Jan M. Chagnon, on May 24 at about 10:15 p. m.
