In what could be the first ever incident of its kind, Ravenna police have fined a drunk driver, not behind the wheel but behind the handlebars. Brenda Jones ran a red light and ran into a car at a busy intersection on her Roadmaster bicycle.

The dismembered body of a woman was found floating in a Sunrise canal on Wednesday by construction workers. The woman apparently had been attacked by an alligator. Police identified the woman as Yovy Suarez Jimenez, 28, whose family members had reported her as missing and said that she had gone out jogging along a bicycle path on Tuesday evening.

Heize Stucke of Germany, the world's most traveled cyclist, was elated on Wednesday after British police returned the stolen bicycle that he'd ridden for nearly 44 years. The old-fashioned German-built bicycle had taken Stucke through more than 200 countries. He was about to complete a global ride he began in 1962 when his bike was stolen while he was sleeping in a tent in Portsmouth, England.

A man on a horse and cart made an amazing escape by out-doing four cops motorbikes, a patrol car, a video van, two cycling constables and a helicopter in a slow-motion chase through east Leeds, England. The 34-year-old man, who has been kept unidentified, is wanted in connection with a serious assault and was spotted by an officer on a bicycle on a side road. The man jumped on to a horse and cart and galloped away.
