Norwalk, OH (AHN)-After allegedly enticing three teenagers to ride their bikes through waist-high floodwaters, police say a television news cameraman paid a $145 fine. According to a police report, the boys allege that Gary Abrahamsen of WEWS-TV in Cleveland offered to put them on TV if they rode through the water on a bridge, adding that a reporter waded into the water so they would be riding behind her in the video.

A thief on horseback brandished a toy gun and robbed a man of his cell phone in the middle of this busy resort town Friday. Brazilian police say they have arrested the teenager responsible for the theft.

After having their applications denied multiple times, lesbian motorcyclists in San Francisco have won approval to trademark the name "Dykes on Bikes," says a lawyer for the group. The U. S. Patent and Trademark Office says the phrase could be seen as insulting to lesbians and had rejected applications by the San Francisco Women's Motorcycle Contingent to trademark "Dykes on Bikes," reports Reuters

Winding down his Asian trip, President Bush took a bike ride Sunday with six Chinese athletes. The bikers, three women and three men, are all vying for a chance to qualify for the 2008 Olympics. The cyclists, along with Bush, took advantage of sunny conditions for Sunday's mountain bike ride around the Laoshan Olympic Mountain Bike Course.
