DVD Jon Places Ad For 'Work-Around' iTunes Program Below San Francisco Apple Store

Jon Lech Johansen, known more widely as DVD Jon, has pulled off a real-life hack on Apple as he bought a huge advertisement space on the wall outside the Apple Store in San Francisco.

The marketing banner placed directly next to the main entrance to Apple's flagship store is about doubleTwist that gives "The Cure for iPhone Envy". The company aims to become a default application for all hardware devices.

Citygoers in Berlin were greeted with a surprising sight: an image of German Chancellor Angela Merkel wearing nothing but bright purple undergarments.

Street Artist Called "Decapitator" Terrorizes London Advertisements

A mysterious street artist, known only as "The Decapitator," has struck again. This time, he or she has removed the head of "Sex In The City" star Sarah Jessica Parker. That is, on a billboard.

For several months advertisements have been popping up around London in which the heads of models and actors have been removed and replaced with images of bloody stumps. Essentially, he or she covers the part of a photo of a person's head with a photo-shopped gory, headless image.

Times Square Church's Pastor Vies To Block Cheeky Billboards

The pastor of a Times Square Church has asked the state court to bar a bidet company from showing off it's cheeky advertising. At the center of the issue is a billboard, which would run on both sides of the building housing the church, featuring several nude bottoms with a smiley on them.

The head of the 8,000-member church complains that the bidet company's plan to put up a giant billboard will interfere with the consecration of the church goers.

Man Gets Stranded For Hours Atop Billboard

A Malaysian man was stranded on top of a twenty three foot billboard for almost seven hours after a botched attempt to steal its spotlight. His accomplice had left the scene with both the light and the ladder.

The man did not willingly come down and swung at would-be rescuers with a steel rod during negotiations with police.
