Pranksters release two live snakes during a showing of "Snakes on a Plane" in a Phoenix, Arizona theater. AMC Entertainment Inc. spokeswoman Melanie Bell says two diamondback rattlesnakes were set loose during the movie, which is about deadly snakes terrorizing passengers on a plane. She tells Reuters, "One was found in the parking lot during the show, and the other in the movie theater. They were both removed, and no one was harmed. "

A judge at the U. S. District Court in Manhattan on Thursday overturned an appeal by a man who had sued the city for entering his apartment without a search warrant, after he was mauled by his own pet tiger. The ruling appeared in public records on Monday. Antonie Yates was arrested on Oct. 4, 2003, at a Philadelphia hospital where he had gone for treatment of a deep bite by his pet tiger. Yates, who also possessed an alligator has been charged with reckless endangerment.

South Carolina's health department shuts down the salad bar at a Ruby Tuesday restaurant after a teen finds a mouse on his plate. The state Department of Health and Environmental Control says an initial investigation indicates the restaurant is not to blame for the incident, as it did not find evidence of mice infestation or droppings. Soon-to-be high school senior Edward Viehman, 17, says he saw the mouse on his plate right after taking the first bite.

All angler Scott Curry wanted to do when he set out with his rod and bait was to catch a few fish. However, the one that took a bite out of his bait hook left both him and wildlife experts in Texas astounded when they saw that the scaly creature was endowed with "human" teeth. According to The Sun, Curry and wildlife officials were gasping in surprise when they realized that the 20-pounder caught at Buffalo Springs Lake in Texas had a mouth full of human teeth.

A 70-year-old German shoplifter tried to break free from the police by biting them to no avail. His main problem in the escape attempt was he had forgotten to put his teeth on. Police tried arresting him when he failed to pay fine for shoplifting.
