In a bizarre incident a woman mistakenly put her one-month-old grand son into a plastic bin to be scanned along with her baggage at Los Angeles International airport. The baby was noticed by an airport worker who immediately pulled the bin back from the conveyor belt.

In a bizarre incident, a Russian drunk driver, who was stopped by police tried to swallow his keys then bit an officer as the official tried to retrieve them. Citing regional traffic spokeswoman Anna Kutonova, RIA-Novosti revealed that the man's Russian-made Moskvich car was stopped overnight near Kemerovo, about 1,850 miles east of Moscow, admitted that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

A Detroit judge ordered a man with a fetish for mannequins to undergo a psychiatric evaluation on Thursday to determine whether he is mentally fit to stand trial for breaking into a local cleaning supply company and kidnapping a mannequin dressed in a French maid's uniform. This is the sixth such offense for the man, police said. Detroit resident Ronald A. Dotson was arrested and jailed on October 9 less than three weeks after getting out of jail for the same crime. His fetish for mannequins over the past 13 years, police report, has lead him in and out of jail at least a half dozen times on breaking and entering charges.

A man's desire to get married quickly ended up in tragedy, after a bizarre sequence of events in which he thought he'd accidentally killed his fiancee. The groom-to-be, Ahmad Ashraf, unfortunately made good on his promise that he would do "something drastic" if his fiancee didn't agree to a quick marriage. The couple had been scheduled to marry in December with parent's consent, but Ashraf was adamant that the wedding should be sooner.
