An 18-year-old boy who reportedly snuck into the bedroom of his 15-year old girlfriend for a romantic rendezvous, but ran into her father instead, was charged with burglary and assault on Monday. Jesse Laboiteaux, 18, arrived in court to answer the charges still brandishing the two black-eyes from the incident.

Local authorities reported that a bank in the town's shopping center was held up Thursday by an old man in a wheelchair. Reports say that the suspect was an elderly white male, between 65 and 70 years old, has grey hair and was sporting a beard. At least 30 people out of the 3,200 marathon runners, were rushed to the hospital in southwestern Japan after a swarm of bee attacked the participants on Sunday, rescue workers said. According to local officials, they dispatched five ambulances during the race because of the incident.
