Former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair can now be seen in his cameo role in an online White House video of U.S. president Bush's dog.
The Barney Cam, an annual Christmas movie starring the White House Scottish terrier, gives a dog's-eye view of the White House decorated for Christmas.
This year's episode features Barney and Miss Beazley, the other White House dog of the same breed, daydreaming about being appointed junior park rangers. The New York Times noted that the plot coincides with the White House's national parks Christmas theme, as well as the US$1 billion investment President Bush plans to make for national parks over the next decade.
The story shows the two dogs eventually becoming junior rangers, and then running into Blair, who says his line:
"It's always good to see the Scots doing well."
The episode is entitled Barney Cam VI: Holiday in the National Parks. The Press Association reported that it also features First Lady Laura Bush, as well as the twins Jenna and Barbara.
The Barney Cam first aired in 2002.
