A Utah teen stands accused of misdemeanor criminal mischief after he allegedly threw a penny at a BMW March 5, causing more than $900 in damage. Police said the 18-year-old was only trying to get the attention of the car's occupants when he tossed the penny, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Two young drivers were arrested over the weekend for speeding past police officers at 141 mph on I-5 in Snohomish County, Washington. The Washington State Patrol says that the trooper who arrested two men thought he was hearing an airplane early Sunday as the cars zoomed by him, heading north on the interstate highway.

A new Lifeskool TV poll from the On Demand TV network Wednesday recently conducted a "Cars and Summer Romance Survey" of 1,000 men and women. Nearly seven of 10 people responded they want to have sex in a car this season and 49 percent admitted to having done so since their school days.
