Santas attending the annual World Congress of the Father Christmases have called Monday for more colorful Christmas trees and said the traditional green-colored trees are too dull. Vibeke Larsen, spokesman for the Congress said, "This year, the Santas want to be trendy. They seem to be tired of the green Christmas tree, which they find too monotone, and want a bit of color, gaiety and renewal next to the fireplace. "

The tourism authority is sending out e-mails with a link leading viewers to a short cartoon that features a couple having extramarital sex on a boat. By clicking on http://abalatoninyar. fw. hu/, prospective visitors will see a cartoon of a young blond woman doing the deed with a married on a fishing boat on the lake.

Dolphins that once sought out fish in the wild now go up to boats open-mouthed, begging for food. Though alligators are efficient predators in the Everglades, they leap out of the water to chase hooked fish on fishermen's rods. Across the country, animals have become increasingly accustomed to human presence, often resulting in a change of behavior. Handouts of food to animals are detrimental to their survival.

A boatload of tourists on a whale watching trip were shocked to see hunters harpoon a whale right in front of them. The boat's skipper Geir Maan tells ABC, "We were on our way out to the whale watching area when we passed a whaling boat. "
