A family of bobcats has moved into one of the many foreclosed houses in an upscale community in Southern California.

According to the Los Angeles Times, neighbors in the Tuscany Hills community spotted the felines lounging around and on the Spanish-style house and called authorities thinking the cats were mountain lions. When authorities arrived, they found two adult bobcats and three kittens living in the spacious house.

Monique Middleton of Animal Friends of the Valley, an animal-control service provider told the paper bobcats are not known to attack humans, and are probably there because there is an old koi pond in the back yard full of water. She said they are likely to move on once the kittens are bigger.
