A bomb disposal team was checking a foreclosed Riverside, California home for possible booby traps Wednesday, a day after fake pipe bombs were found on the property.

Police have arrested, Daniel Gherman, 42, the former resident of the house at North Orange Street, on suspicion of rigging the property with explosive devices.

A realtor who inspected the house Tuesday saw what appeared to be pipe bombs in the yard and reported it to the police. Neighbors were temporarily evacuated and nearby streets briefly closed as a bomb squad was called in later.

One fake bomb found outside the home was safely detonated.

The house has been abandoned for 30 days before the harmless bombs were discovered.
