Singapore Airlines is not allowing romantic passengers aboard its new Airbus A380 Superjumbo jets to use the beds in the private suites of the world's biggest commercial plane for sex. Australian newspaper Mercury quoted a spokesman of the airlines as saying that the ban on airborne sex is among the rules for passenger behavior during flights of the A380.

Long Island high school principal Nicholas Restivo recently banned all Halloween costumes at the school, due to three senior girls who showed up at the school controversially dressed as the scantily-clad comic book hero, Captain Underpants. The girls were described to have been wearing beige-colored leotards and nude stockings, under white briefs, and red capes, as reported by the Associated Press. The report said that their choice of costume made them look naked.

The oldest known complete copy of Quran written in 1203, has been auctioned and sold for $2. 3 million in London, England on Tuesday. Christie auction house said the sacred book, which auctioneers believed to be sold at $715,000 fetched at least $2,327,300 when auction ended in London.

A man who hoped to land in the record book for netting what was thought to be the biggest salmon caught off British waters went home disappointed, because there was no scale to weigh his catch. According to a local paper, the giant fish measured 56 inches long, 50 inches round and could have been more than 64 lbs enough to break the 85-year old record set by Georgina Ballantyne in 1922 with a fish she hooked in Perthshire.
