A robber was killed in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Friday by his own gun.

Jack Donaldson, 27, came home at lunchtime to find intruders in his apartment. One had a semi-automatic handgun. A struggle ensued and one robber, Lajuan Dandy, 39, dropped his gun. Donaldson picked it up and fired, killing the burglar.

Dandy's accomplices ran out of the apartment. Donaldson fired at another man, but apparently missed. Police reportedly said that there may have been three burglars.

That means that two of the three are still at large.
