An 11-year old medium sulfur-crested cockatoo is one heck of a fan of Backstreet Boys. According to reports Snowball lifts his legs, squawks and bobs his head, flashing his bright yellow crest to the beat of the band's "Everybody," even taking a bow with a vigorous bob of his head at the end of the 1997 pop tune.

A hungry, a 6-year old boy decided to have a bite at Applebee's last Tuesday. So the toddler took grabbed the car keys, put his booster seat from the back of his grandmother's car and placed it on the driver's seat, and started the engine.

n a country where most people live on just a dollar or less a day, an 11-year-old boy who gathers discarded plastic bottles for money returned the equivalent of over $400 USD that he found on the road. Gicoven Abarquez is penniless, malnourished and has never owned a pair of shoes. He works the streets of Dagupan City in northern Philippines to help his parents make ends meet. He is one of the thousands of Filipino boys, some barely in their teens, who go to school and also work collecting discarded plastic containers to sell back to recycling centers.

A 51-year-old grandmother gave birth to her own twin grandchildren, by becoming a surrogate mother. According to a hospital official, the grandmother was identified as Rosinete Palmeira Serrao, a government health worker. She gave birth to twin boys by Caesarean section at the Santa Joana Hospital in Recife city.
