Bullet-proof bras designed to be comfortable and injury-proof have been issued to 3,000 policewomen in Germany for their protection. The bras are made of cotton or polyester and are padded. Unlike bullet-proof vests, they have no metal or plastic under-wire or fasteners that can pierce skin and injure the wearer when a bullet hit the body armor.

Japanese inventors and Triumph International Ltd. , have designed a "solar-powered bra" which aims to raise awareness against global warming on Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan's capital city. The environment-friendly bra was designed to conserve energy and is capable and designed to generate enough power to charge a cellular phone or Ipod.

Giant bra maker Triumph International has unveiled a 'chopsticks bra' in Japan hoping to cutting down on disposable chopstick. "Its small step, but because many Japanese chopsticks are disposable, big chunks of forests are being cut down," Triumph spokesperson Hiromi Shinta said. "So we thought we could help promote the use of 'My Chopsticks' and help cut down on disposable chopsticks. "

A thief stole hundreds of bras from a Victoria's Secret store in Flagstaff Mall midday Sunday. According to police, they are still conducting an investigation as to how a thief managed to get about 350 bras out of the store during business hours. They are also wondering how the thief got the bras out of the store without sounding the alarm.

A 43-year-old man from Colorado man faces a felony theft charge in the disappearance of more than 1,300 women's undergarments near the Colorado State University campus. Police arrested Chih Hsien Wu for stealing panties, sports bras, stretch pants, and pantyhose from apartment complex laundry rooms in the Campus West area between September 23 and May 18.
