A 22-year-old new mother wanted to hit two birds with one stone but health authorities got in the way of her plans. Martha Heller tried to sell 100 ounces (2. 8 liters) of her breast milk for $200 or to the highest bidder and even posted a newspaper ad to entice buyers. In the end, health authorities took notice and her milk ended up in the University of Iowa's Mother's Milk Bank.

A West Australian barmaid in Perth had been slapped a $1,000 fine by a court on Wednesday for showing patrons she could crush beer cans between her exposed breasts. The Mandurah Magistrates Court fined Luana De Faveri, 31, after she pleaded guilty to violations of the Liquor Control Act.

A Philadelphia man got an unpleasant surprise at his dining table when he found out something unusual in his plate full of green beans. Upon looking closely, Earl Hartman said he was shocked to discover the inch-long head on his plate Wednesday night, resting between a chicken breast and buttered noodles. WCAU-TV quotes Hartman as saying, "When I sat down, I noticed something didn't look right. It didn't look like a green bean. "

A Pakistani court has sent a couple to jail for entering into wedlock because the "husband" is a woman. The union was ruled a "same sex marriage," which is a criminal offense in Pakistan. Judge Khwaja Mohammad Sharif at Lahore High Court said in his ruling Tuesday, "It's an illegal and un-Islamic marriage which is not sustainable under the law. " The couple, Shamail Raj and Shehzina Tariq, married last September. However, the bride's father filed a case against the husband suspecting him of being a woman and lead to the arrest of the couple last Saturday.
