Every woman has a dream wedding, the much-awaited moment of a lifetime. But, what if the colors of flowers for the wedding are not her choice?

Elana Glatt, a bride, sued her florist in an alleged breach of contract for failure to follow an agreed upon color scheme.

Glatt told USA Today the Flower shop in Manhattan substituted pastel pink and green hydrangeas for the dark rust and green ones she had ordered for 22 centerpieces.

The bride also alleged that the hydrangeas were not freshly picked. Glatt described it as wilted and brown and was arranged in dusty vases without enough water.

Tobi Glatt, Elana's husband, paid for a total of $27,435.14 for the flowers.

The lawsuit asked for more than $400,000 in restitution and damages.

Stamos Arakas, the florist, said he tried to match the color of the hydrangeas with the picture Glatt showed them

Arakas claimed he told Glatt that the picture will not exactly match the color of the fresh ones.
