ilipino inventor Virgilio Malang invented a vitamin-enriched beer that has garnered awards and recognition worldwide even before it is commercially marketed. Malang's Vitamin Beer, fortified with Vitamin B Complex, became widely popular at the First International Inventors' Day Convention held recently in Bangkok, Thailand. It also won a gold medal at the European Union-sponsored Genius-Europe competition at the Budapest Fair Center in Hungary and it also won the Romanian Ministry Education and Research Cup few years ago.

Hungarian scientist's claim they have come up with a computer program, which would enable people to understand dog, barks. The group o scientists said the software is able to decode dog's barks, howls, yaps and growls.

Hollywood action movie hero Chuck Norris is currently leading the race in an online vote to pick a name for a new bridge in the Hungarian city of Budapest. If he wins the vote, the bridge will be named "Chuck Norris Bridge. " On Tuesday morning, the Hollywood actor has already received 8,725 votes. The figures represent 11 percent of the entire votes.

Monkeys and apes at Budapest Zoo are regular drinkers of red wine. Reuters reports the primates go through 55 liters of the alcohol every year.

Officials working at a Budapest zoo say the monkeys and apes drink up to 55 liters of red wine annually. The wine which is administered in bits is intended to boost the animals' red blood cells.
