The Italian government will tap into the porn industry lessen the deficit. The "porno-tax," would take 25 percent on all income from pornography. The proposal is contained in a package of amendments to the 2006 budget to presented in the Chamber of Deputies Tuesday or Wednesday, according to government sources speaking to Reuters.

A survey conducted by The Space Foundation reveals more than three-fourths of the total population - 77 percent - of Americans support a new plan for space exploration; an increase from last year's 68 percent support result. Such a plan would include returning the space shuttle to flight, completing assembly of the International Space Station, the building of a replacement shuttle, and missions returning to the Moon and Mars.

Paris Hilton says she vows to study more on African poverty after having attended the Live 8 concert in London knowing little about the cause itself. Ana Matronic, member of singing group Scissor Sisters, criticized Hilton for showing up to the gig without understanding its primary goal of doubling the aid budget to the continent.
