The Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo asked residents Tuesday to help in the recovery of this monkey who escaped at about 8 a. m. The capuchin monkey is a species of monkey native to South and Central America. Park officials believe that Oscar could have escaped to a nearby country club.
