Two Bulgarian prisoners that are World Cup soccer fans, have sewn up their lips in protest after not being able to watch the tournament from their prison cells.

According to Prison director Vesselin Kotzev, the two men, who are currently spending life sentences in prison, have left a small part of their mouths open in order to be able to smoke cigarettes.

He adds that they had also asked for unlimited supplies of tea, coffee and cigarettes, reports Ananova.com.

Kotzev says: "I am negotiating with them to convince them that sealing their mouths is not the way to put forward their demands, which are unrealistic."
