In the first incident of its kind, burglars who robbed the Guyandotte United Methodist Church in West Virginia changed their minds and returned the loot money the very next night of stealing it.
According to church treasurer Rocky Frazier, burglars first broke into the church on Monday night and stole about $5,000 worth of sound and office equipment. However, the looted stuff, along with cash was returned the very next night.
AP quotes Frazier as saying on Friday, "They taketh and the Lord giveth back. It's like there's a higher power at work."
Rev. Julia Bolling said she was happy that the thieves "changed their hearts" and returned the sound system, keyboard, and computer along with the cash. However, the thieves didn't return about $22 in change.
