Funeral parlor employees are accustomed to dead bodies, but not to lying in their coffins.
One unlucky worker in Kazakhstan was put in a coffin while burglars looked for cash in the parlor.
Serik Sarsenbayev says to Reuters that he was working alone when two masked men broke into the shop and beat him unconscious.
The burglars then placed him in a wooden coffin and nailed it shut. The driver of the parlor's hearse later freed him.
The burglars stole about $23,000 and have not yet been captured.
