An argument over Germany's loss to Italy in the World Cup on Wednesday, led to a bus driver crashing into a parked car.

Police officers disclosed that the bus driver and one passenger were the only ones on the bus during the accident.

A police spokesman told Reuters, "When the driver commented that the 'German players just weren't good enough', the passenger started insulting him. He then suddenly hit the driver in the head with a beer bottle."

Even though the bus was going about 18 mph, the driver lost control after being hit in the head and rammed a parked Mercedes.

The fan fled from the bus after exiting through the emergency exit.

Police have stated that they are looking for the man and that he was wearing a Germany team jersey with number 20, the same as Germany striker Lukas Podolski.
