Baseball fan President George W. Bush receives a lesson in the game of cricket in Pakistan, during his tour of several Asian countries. During his lesson, he was accidentally hit by a ball in the shoulder.
The sport, which is immensely popular in India and Pakistan, was first introduced by the British more than a century ago.
During the Bush's lesson, he was shown how to bat and bowl by members of Pakistan's national team. They used tennis balls rather than harder cricket balls.
He hit two deliveries from the crease, and then was struck on the shoulder by one.
According to BBC News, the President was watched by a crowd of schoolchildren, as he was shown the correct way of holding a cricket bat before being led to the line to face some bowling.
Afterwards, he handed out autographed baseballs to the on-lookers.
