A U.K. truck dealer is selling his British Harrier fighter jet for $38,000.
According to The Sun, Christ Kelly is participating in the Auto Trader exhibit to find a buyer for his jet and claims the Harrier saw action in the Falklands War against Argentina.
Kelly, who is from West Bromwich, England, got the Harrier when he entered into an exchange deal with Britain's Ministry of Defense. Kelly provided the Ministry with a Scania truck and in return, the government will gave him the jet.
But he was forced to sell the Harrier because at 46 feet long and with a wingspan of 26 feet, the jet occupies too much space and would not fit in his garage even though its engine and ejector seat have been removed.
He said, "When the plane was new it would've cost millions but we are asking for thousands instead. It is the best of British engineering, it fills you with pride."
