Fed up with seeing cigarette butts on the streets, Sydney, Australia has put together a "Butt Force" or "Butt Busters" to clean-up the problem.
Reuters reports the team of 30 plain-clothed rangers will patrol the city's streets in an effort to crackdown on litter.
The move coincides with World No Tobacco Day on Wednesday. Smokers who flick their butts on the streets face fines of $45.
It can more than triple for smokers who trash lit cigarettes.
Acting chief executive of Sydney, Monica Barone, says 45 smokers have been fined in the past week for littering.
She says more than 15,000 butts were thrown on the streets everyday in 2005.
