Cadillac is offering an alternative to consumers who normally can't afford the luxury vehicle.
Bike riding is being taken to a whole new level with General Motor's Cadillac-brand line of bicycles. The bike comes complete with the Caddy crest on the seat and front of the frame.
Cadillac General Manager, Ron Lippner, announced the bikes are for sale in select shops, with wider distribution expected in the next few months.
Cadillac officials report the possibility of some dealers' plans to give the bikes away as incentive in car deal closings or as a premium for their sales people.
The Caddy bikes are offered in various styles, including drop-handlebar racing types and mountain bikes. Prices range from $500 to about $1,900.
