U.S. Army Identifies Body Of WWII Airman Found In Glacier Atop Kings Canyon

In November 18, 1942, Ernest Glenn Munn, 23, of St. Clairsville, Ohio left Sacramento, California for a training flight aboard an AT-7 navigational trainer plane together with three other companions from the army air corps. They never came back. Sixty five years later in August of last year, campers in a remote area of Kings Canyon sought the help of rangers as they discovered a frozen, decomposing body atop of a glacier. Not far away from the body is an un-launched military parachute.

Man Cycles Backward For Humanitarian Causes

In an attempt to raise awareness for HIV, homelessness, and in support for the medical use of marijuana, a man has been traveling across the United States on his bike, all the while pedaling backwards. Starting last August in California, 36-year old cyclist Curan Wright has been cycling backwards through different states, with his navigation based solely on his peripheral vision.

Mich. Woman Arrested For Allegedly Recruiting Hit Man Through Craigslist

The popular Internet classifieds site Craigslist was allegedly used by a woman to hire a hit man to kill a romantic rival. Police claim Ann Marie Linscott advertised she would pay $5,000 to have killed the wife of a Calif. man she was having an affair. Although the want-ad listed only a "freelance" job offer, those who answered the Craigslist posting were offered $5,000, plus the name and the address of the woman Linscott allegedly wanted "eradicated. " California police are now seeking the woman's extradition.

California To Begin Dispensing Marijauna In Secure Vending Machines Monday

People can buy many things in vending machines, from candy and chips to sandwiches, aspirin and now medicinal marijuana. Yep. Marijuana dispensing vending machines now exist. In California Anytime-Vending-Machines in secure rooms dispense marijuana to anyone with a doctor's prescription for the weed that is legal in that state for anyone with a medical need to take it.
