Legendary comedian and actor Pat McCormick has died. The man responsible for writing comedy for such comedians as Phylis Diller, Red Skelton, and Johnny Carson died late Friday afternoon, he was 78-years old. McCormick had been living at the Motion Picture and Television Fund's hospital in Woodland Hills, California since 1998 when he suffered a stroke that left him partially paralyzed.

A new marriage ends in tragedy as the groom allegedly throws his bride off of a 200-foot cliff. Police believe that the bride's desire to have the marriage annulled led to her murder. The couple had been married for just two weeks.

District judge, Joan Lenard, awards the damages, plus attorneys fees and other costs, after granting a motion for summary judgment in a civil suit against Simpson.
