An apparently hungry burglar made a cheese sandwich after stealing away a few things from the house. An unidentified burglar broke into David Palmer's house in this northeast Ohio town over the weekend and took coins, a camera and other items.

A skydiving instructor in New Zealand, whose parachute failed to open during a fall at 13,000 feet came back from the mouth of death when he crashed back to Earth and into a thick blackberry bush instead of falling to the ground. Two men were arrested Monday after they allegedly tried to stab an inflatable snowman with a screwdriver. The assault on 12-foot-tall Frosty was caught on a hidden camera put up by the owner of the yard where the Christmas display stood erect. Upset with the two similar previous attacks on his snowman, Matt Williquette set up as motion-sensitive video camera in a tree in his yard. But his efforts paid off. The video showed two men slashing the snowman.

One police officer didn't know if people should call him the grinch after arresting a man for stealing Christmas gifts for his "Honey Bunny. " Richard Perez, 43 was caught stealing items from the hotel where he works as a security guard. A surveillance camera caught him leaving a hotel room with a covered cart.
