In a recent theft at a public library in northern New Zealand, thieves stole the penis of a wooden Maori figurine erected at the entrance. The three masked men armed with a chisel were caught by a security camera removing the tiki's or statue's penis early on Sunday morning.

Police are searching for a man who reprogrammed an ATM to dispense four times as much money as requested. A surveillance camera recorded the man walking into a Virginia Beach gas station and swiping an ATM card, before breaking the machine's security code. Virginia Beach Police spokeswoman Rene Ball says the machine was reprogrammed to give $20 bills but record it as a $5 debit to his account.

A television reporter in California is attacked while trying to interview a couple suspected of perpetrating a real estate scam. The couple bit and hit John Mattes of Fox 6 News, leaving him with cracked ribs and cuts on his face. Authorities identified the assailants as Assad "Sam" Suleiman, 36, and his wife, Rosa Amelia Barraza, 33.

British police say a driver was put in jail for four months after he blew up a camera that caught him speeding. The road safety camera snapped Craig Moore, 28, in the Hyde area of Manchester in August 2005. After the camera was blown up, it was still able to record Moore speeding and returning to destroy evidence of his crime.

An Ohio woman said she never wants to visit New York after the city slapped her with a $50 traffic violation. The problem is the woman was in Ohio when the violation occurred. A police camera placed in Mahattan's Greenwich Villages took the picture of a car baring similar license plate numbers to Lisa Sims, who lives in Middleton, Ohio.
