Sandi Sabloff had been suffering from chronic kidney failure for 20 years. But thanks to kidney donor, 23-year old Australian Ashwyn Falkingham, a member of the Jesus Christians group, more years will be added to Sabloff's life after a successful transplant at the Paraskevaidion Surgical Transplant Centre in Nicosia, Cyprus. Sabloff and Falkingham are reported to be recovering well.

Research In Motion Inc. (RIM), maker of the popular BlackBerry smartphone, apologized Monday for the more than two hours of service disruption that affected millions of its customers in the U. S. and Canada. According to Networkworld. com, the "service disruption" that affected RIM's infrastructure starting at 3:30 p. m. EST prevented BlackBerry phones from sending or receiving messages, browsing the Internet or using the BlackBerry Internet Service Web site.

Convicted Mother Allowed To Raise Baby In Prison

A woman convicted of murder was given permission to take her infant daughter to prison with her, enabling her to look after the baby during her four-year sentence. Imprisoned for fatally shooting her common-law husband in their Prince George home back in 2006, Lisa Anne Whitford, 37, gave birth to her baby last March, while she was being held in custody.
