A man accused of a hit-and-run violation is found hiding in a doghouse. Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux says that parents began calling police about 7 a. m. as a vehicle hit several cars in a neighborhood while children were getting ready to board a school bus in this town about 30 miles north of Seattle, according to AP reports.

Three teenage boys are facing charges for petty theft after stealing car ornaments from their neighbor's cars and selling them on eBay. Authorities seized more than 80 stolen emblems from one of the teenager's homes.

Bulgarian judges have caused a diplomatic international incident after ordering a car, stolen in Germany, to be used as their new transportation vehicle. Bulgarian border officials seized the luxury BMW X5 SUV from a car thief in April.

Authorities arrest a woman after discovering her bra was padded with a stolen rare parrot. Police report 35-year-old Jill Knispel hid the Greenwing parrot in her bra after taking it from her employer, Baby Exotic Birds of Englewood.

A woman who has committed suicide was left hanging dead on a tree for nearly 12 hours as by-passers mistook the body as a Halloween decoration. The unidentified woman, 42, hanged herself from a tree near a fairly busy road. It was not until hours later did a local resident call local authorities, out of concern for the rotting body.
