Star Trek fans are being offered an enterprising opportunity to buy props, models and sets from the show, according to auction house, Christie's. More than 1,000 items will be sold at auction in New York in October to mark the show's 40th anniversary.

Thursday, two cousins were shot in Aliquippa ironically across the street from the police station. The incident took place at 5:18 p. m. in the old Sons of Columbus building on Franklin Avenue.

When looking for authentic art pieces, a wholesale warehouse, may not be your first thought. However according to reports, Costco claims to not only sell fine art at prices that are 40 percent less than galleries', it also claims that all of the pieces are genuine. Costco. com started selling fine art three years ago, selling hundreds of pieces including two by Pablo Picasso, according to CBS news.

A Providence police patrolman has been disciplined for releasing a suspect because he was tired and it was the end of his shift. Patrolman Roland Reed was guarding a man, who was accused of assaulting another officer, at Rhode Island Hospital last month when his shift came to an end at 7 a. m. Reed didn't wait for his replacement to arrive and left. He later told superiors he was tired. By the time the next officer arrived, the suspect was gone. The man was eventually re-arrested.

A Florida high school teen has decided to see the war-torn destruction of Iraq by going to the country by himself - as a tourist. Farris Hassan, 16, a student of Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was inspired by his "immersion journalism" to take the trip. Farris left America three weeks ago, using money given to him by his parents, but opted not to tell them about his plans.
