World-famous self-proclaimed psychic Uri Geller will be searching for an heir on a new reality TV show. The celebrity psychic, who has been using his brain power to bend spoons, stop clocks and read minds for the last four decades, will be choosing the most gifted contestant out of 10 to follow in his footsteps.
The as-yet unnamed show is being produced in Israel, where Geller, 59, grew up.
Geller says, "The format will be something like 'American Idol.' We will keep the performances that are the most riveting and amazing."
Geller did not provide additional information on what skills the contestants will be displaying, and his only description of the prize was that it will be "huge."
Geller says, "This is not a show where people have to prove to me that they are real. I just want to be amazed."
