World-famous self-proclaimed psychic Uri Geller will be searching for an heir on a new reality TV show. The celebrity psychic, who has been using his brain power to bend spoons, stop clocks and read minds for the last four decades, will be choosing the most gifted contestant out of 10 to follow in his footsteps. The as-yet unnamed show is being produced in Israel, where Geller, 59, grew up.

A women who gave birth to her grandchild may have found a way to side-step the Japanese government. A Japanese women in her 50s acted as a surrogate for her daughter and her son-in-law. Her daughter had her uterus removed because of cancer and was unable to have children. This marks the first time a woman has been a surrogate for her daughter in Japan.

An animal-loving couple included the unofficial town mascot - a camel named Matilda - in its wedding ceremony on Sunday. Sitting on top of Matilda, the bride, Sherel Crockett, rode along a horse trail leading up to the Norco Christian church. Crockett and George Stone met while working in a therapy program involving pets, and both currently work as therapists with children who are severely emotionally disturbed. When the two met they found they share a love of animals that is seldom equaled.

A group of Australia's most powerful women have honored Tom Cruise with an "Ernie Award. " The award is handed out to companies and public figures who make the most derogatory public statements about women, and the 2006 Celebrity Ernie was bestowed upon Cruise for a comment he made about his girlfriend, Katie Holmes, when she was pregnant. Cruise, who was dropped by Paramount Pictures for his recent public behavior, said during the pregnancy, "I've got Katie tucked away so no one will get to us until my child is born. "
