Cole Krause dominated the five and younger category during the 32nd annual International Cherry Spitting Championship Saturday in southwestern Michigan. Becoming the recent addition to a long line of cherry spitters.

He launched the cherry pit 12 feet, 4 inches. His father, Brian, 27, is the reigning champ in the adult division, spitting a distance of 53 feet, 4 inches. He also holds the world-record of 93 feet, 6 1/2 inches, which he obtained in 2003.

Second place went to Brian's father, Rick "Pellet Gun" Krause, 51, who cleared 50 feet, 11 inches with his spit. The elder Krause counts with 12 international champioships so far.

Brian's mother dominated the women's division, spitting 38 feet, 7 inches. Braden, 8, another son of Brian's won the age 6-8 division with a 26 feet, 6-inch pit hurl.
