Kentucky Woman Prostitutes Self For $100 Gas Card

To further illustrate the way rising gas prices are effecting people all over the world, police say a woman arrested in Northern Kentucky for soliciting prostitution was trading sex for gasoline. A sex sting operation by police was in effect at a Days Inn Hotel when Angela R. Eversole, 34, was arrested along with four other women for selling sex. After further investigation, police found that rather that trading sex for cash, Eversole bartered her body for $100 gas card and other gifts.

Three Hackers Steal $2 Million Using ATM PINs Swiped Off The Web

Three people are in U. S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on charges they stole ATM PIN numbers enabling them to grab at least $2 million from Citibank checking and savings accounts. Although the extent of the breach is unknown, the alleged crooks pilfered the PINs between October 2007 and March when bank customers used ATMS inside an unknown number of 7-Eleven stores. Around 5,700 Citibank ATMs are located in U. S. 7-Elevens. However, the bank neither owns or operates the automatic tellers.

Brooklyn Cook Accused Of Stealing Lobster Tails In His Pants

It's been a hot summer so far in the city. Perhaps the heat motivated a Brooklyn restaurant cook to steal frozen lobster tails from his restaurant by stuffing them down his pants. Raymundo Flores was arraigned by the Brooklyn District Attorney on charges of petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. Police, responding to a 911 from restaurant workers, said they found lobster tails that Flores allegedly stole hidden in his pants and in bandages on his legs.

Man Kidnaps His Ex-Girlfriend, Forces Her To Do Housework

An Italian man was arrested after police said he kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from a pub and took her home, forcing her to wash the dishes and iron clothes. Police said the man dragged the woman out of a pub in Genoa, shoved her into a car and took her home where he threatened her if she didn't do his dishes and ironing.

Police In Holly Springs, Georgia To Tack $12 Fuel Surcharge On Overspeeding Drivers

Overspeeding drivers who pass through Holly Spring in Georgia would be issued not only a speeding ticket, but also a $12 fuel surcharge. The extra fee was approved by the city council to cover the extra fuel cost used in chasing overspeeding drivers, said Holly Springs Police Chief Ken Ball. The fuel surcharge takes effect July 1 to augment the department's budget which had been eaten up by escalating fuel prices.
