It was supposed to be a theft-proof car, the pride of Berlin police force, until a thief simply drove it off. The high-tech BMW worth $147,000 police car which is equipped with high-tech surveillance equipment and sophisticated electronic locks and immobilizers to make it theft proof, was stolen in the city's Wedding district after officers left it unlocked with the key in the ignition.

British policewomen are protesting their newly regulation trousers since they claim they make their bums look bigger. Scores of female cops aired their complaint before to trade magazine Police Review saying they prefer to don trousers adding they look better in them.

The California Highway Patrol managed to catch one of four minivan thieves, thanks to a three-pound Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix named Tink. Police were responding to a call of a stolen minivan, with three juveniles and an adult as the suspects. The four fugitives then crashed the vehicle into a hillside near the home of Wendy Anderson.
