The bank robbery suspect who foiled her own plans was arraigned Thursday in Suffolk County Court on one count of grand larceny. Charmaine Williams Stein, 30 of Riverhead, entered Chase Bank on June 10 and passed a note to the teller asking for money. What she may not have realized was that her address was on the other side.

A marriage-minded man, who ran naked through his neighborhood, trying to ascertain his girlfriend that taking risks in life are important, ended up being chased and the target for being shot at. Police have caught a teen who as robbed a series of sunglasses stores, taking over $2,000 in one recent theft. Police say Jevaughn Scott, 18, stole 173 pairs of sunglasses from Kool Shades, then lead officers on a downtown chase at 4 in the morning.

Nearly two dozen police officers were led on a 3. 5 mile wild chase by a cow that was being delivered to the slaughterhouse. Masashi Kitabayashi, a police official, said, "The cow was being delivered to the slaughterhouse, and it was startled by a loud sound and just ran off. "
