A 23-year-old man in Minersville, Utah reportedly broke into the only grocery store in Mitown and spoiled $7,000 worth of goods Sunday. Now the customers in the town would have to wait for a week until the store's next delivery comes on Wednesday. The refrigerated section at Todd's Market was allegedly ransacked and spoiled by Christopher Souda, who took almost everything including ribeye steaks, roasts, pork chops and the cheese section.

It took 700 pounds of cheese, but Troy Landwehr's masterpiece is complete. Landwehr, a cheese carver and winemaker, carved a miniature replica of Mount Rushmore out of a 700-pound block of Land O' Lakes cheddar. Cheez-It snack crackers commissioned the sculpture. It will soon start a tour, first making a stop in New York City's Times Square with Landwehr to appear on television.

A Ukrainian man, believed to be the world's oldest living person, celebrated his 116th birthday on Thursday with a few friends and family. Hryhoriy Nestor, who is also the world's oldest bachelor, joked that he attributed his long life to the fact that he never married. According to BBC reports, Nestor worked on a farm until he retired at age 100 and is now living with a relative who looks after him. He surprisingly has healthy hair on his head and recommends a diet of milk, cheese and potatoes with an occasional shot of vodka.

A Clearfield, Pa. pub recently unveiled what they call a new world record -- a 123-pound cheeseburger. The sandwich was the main attraction at the Beer Barrel Charity event. Denny's Beer Barrel Pub owner Denny Leigey said he has beaten the competition -- a 105-pound burger from New Jersey and another from Thailand.

An apparently hungry burglar made a cheese sandwich after stealing away a few things from the house. An unidentified burglar broke into David Palmer's house in this northeast Ohio town over the weekend and took coins, a camera and other items.
