A Chicago man on trial for drug charges said sorry for spreading his feces around the courtroom. He had been found guilty previously with the importation of a controlled substance, cocaine, and two other charges. Vandale Amos Willis, 28, was sentenced to more than 10 years in prison.

Three passengers have won a lawsuit against Italy's Alitalia after being stranded in Chicago for 36 hours when their flight was canceled. The three Italian doctors said they suffered "distress" and "physical and psychological pain" from the experience. They sued the airline for canceling their flight and taking 36 hours to place them on another plane.

You hear about surgically separated twins, but Pat Gudinas and Shirley McGuireas are a pair of identical babies separated by time. Gudinas, who was separated from her twin sister Shirley McGuireas as a baby 71 years ago, have finally met. The reunion happened at a suburban West Allis restaurant not far from where McGuire lives. "I've never had anybody in my family," a happy Gudinas told Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Jim Stingl of the reunion.

A college student has survived a fall from a third story window, after he was sleepwalking at his fraternity house at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The student broke eight ribs, bruised his lung, shattered a kidney, and injured his spleen in the fall.
