Two Spanish children have been sent to a mental health institution by their parents to get treatment for addiction to their mobile phones. The children had allegedly ceased to undertake normal activities without first having their phones. The children, aged 12 and 13, were admitted to Child and Youth Mental Health Centre in Lleida, in northeastern Spain near Barcelona, three months ago. Their concerned parents brought them in after they spend an average of six hours a day on their phones, talking, texting or playing games.

Well, it was fun while it lasted for ambitious hunters hoping to fly to an exotic location, nab that monster buck, and fly back home with their trophy antlers. One might think the cost would be only the price of the ticket, as well as the need to tell your hunting story to a few curious onlookers. The truth is, the antlers need a ticket almost as pricy as the riders themselves - $75 dollar per ride - and once June 10th rolls around, that price is going up to $100 on Frontier Airlines. This is a special rule, applicable only to antlers. . . because, let's face it, everyone was tired of antlers riding for free.

On a hot summer the ice cream vendor is the modern Pied Piper of Hamelin and various states are not about to let sex offenders use the trade as their way to lure children. Several states are now working on bans against allowing sex offenders. The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors in California, as one example, is planning to draft an ordinance that would prohibit convicted sex predators from driving ice cream trucks after one was found last summer in Perris.
