A fast food chain in Japan is offering whale burgers, in an attempt to rid itself of overstock from past hunting expeditions. Lucky Pierrot, a restaurant chain in the city of Hakodate, began selling the burgers Thursday for $3. 50.

Two Cable repairmen become heroes after rescuing a 10-year-old boy who feel into a swimming pool and remained under eight feet of water for several minutes. Jamario Covington fell into the pool, sunk to the bottom and stopped breathing. A babysitter thought he joking, but realized the boy was in trouble after considerable time passed.

On Wednesday, Percy and Florence Arrowsmith marked their 80th wedding anniversary. The couple celebrated amongst friends at their Western England home, with coffee and snacks. Even Queen Elizabeth II recognized the achievement, sending them a congratulatory letter, lauding their example as a loving couple.

Christina Ficara - All Headline News Staff ReporterTERRE HAUTE, IND. - The Tribune-Star reported that a local substitute teacher put small pieces of tape across the mouths of first-graders because they would not stop talking. Sheryl Smith was fired by Vigo County schools officials after parents told them that she had taped six children's mouths at Fuqua Elementary School. "A substitute teacher used extremely poor judgment," said John Orr, director of human resources. Smith had put the tape on vertically, and it did not cover the children's mouths, although they could not talk.
