In a bid to give a hard fight to obesity and other related problems at the school level, authorities in China have come up with a new resolution which will mandate dance classes to all students in primary and secondary schools. Under the program, experts with the Ministry of Education have designed seven sets of group dances, with each dance lasting 4-5 minutes.
The dances will be incorporated in class breaks, or in extra-curricular activities, the China Daily reports.
However, the obligation doesn't only apply to students. Teachers have also been asked to learn the dances.
According to the Daily, a video for the first dance set will soon be released to all the provincial education departments.
