Controversy arose in an Ohio town when a church posted something unusual on their marquee. It read, "I kissed a girl and I liked it, then I went to hell. " It was in reference to a song by Katy Perry that was popular earlier this summer, but many had never heard of the song, so they were understandably confused.

A 2,000-year-old bone from an apostle, a sacred relic to believers, has been stolen from the altar of the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church. The bone was from St. Andrew, it had been passed down through generations of a family and was given to the church six years ago. It was kept in a silver box under glass on a mantle in a wooden shrine under a painting of the saint, who was one of the 12 apostles of the biblical Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

The bones in Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's closets were bared in a genealogy made by Mormons. The two books written by the Church of the Latter Day Saints disclosed that three of Rudd's ancestors were thieves. The Mormons presented the two volumes to the prime minister Thursday morning, confirming his roots as a "true Aussie pedigree. "

A 79-year-old man watching the construction of a church here from inside his car died when a crane hoisting a steeple collapsed and crashed on him Thursday. Winfred Stafford of Oklahoma City was crushed in the front seat of his Toyota Avalon in the parking lot of the new Grace Assembly of God church.

Russian investigators confirmed on Wednesday that 90-year-old bone fragments found in the Ural region belong to last Russian tsar Nicolas II and his murdered children Alexei and Maria. The Russian prosecutor's office said, "The final results of DNA studies, using three genetic testing systems, confirm the hypothesis that the second grave contained the remains of Grand Duchess Maria and Tsarevich Alexei. "
